    Peel

    Infants gently curled, nesting
    sarm inside their cocoons
    Pressed up against one another
    soft, shelless, boneless
Irritated by the sharp, hard spheres
    that share their space

There’s no air, no space in between
Where one isn’t, there is another
    until their binding comes loose
    and they unfurl, still joined
    but slowly stretching away

  3. Russell says:

into a great and nourishing source

    Orange has a very
    diversified portfolio,
    its assets including a juice,
    a fruit, a city, a county, a revolution,
a Bowl, and color — strangely,
often in conjunction with brown —
    that only young redheaded boys
    seem to really like.

  5. Keelin says:

    Sensuous segments
    Greedy fingers dig in hard
    There’s juice in your eye
