  1. Tristan says:

My eyelids are two castle gates
being held up by night watchmen.
    The ropes are slipping through
    their hands, and soon
    my gates will fall silently.

  2. Russell says:

    because when it’s on paper
    it makes more sense.
    pinned down, where
all of it can be seen
    all at once,
    even to be adjusted
    if needed.
    instead of floating around
    getting lost and damaged
in the wrinkles and rapids of the brain.

  3. (151) INSTANT INSIGNIFICANCE

My span of life mosquitos past
    While eons elephant as if
Their hulking selves were frozen stiff
While I go by so fast

My epic blur of beating wings
    In pure harmonic sync
Is done and gone in one long blink
    Of their vast wanderings.

  4. Provalone says:

    I closed my eyes
    and leaped,
    and learned
    that looking first
    is not always necessary.
