How beautiful
Unembellished
Shines the sunlight
On the water.
Here a flash,
There a sheen.
Soft flashing.
The waves,
The waves.
Living.

Simple the movements seemed
until them I tried to replicate
this game with danger was themed
as the movements I overcomplicate
so simple-move out of the way
In came the fury-a punch
too late, on the ground I lay
trying not to lose my lunch
Again again again
This is my training
pulsing with adrenaline
while my friends are par-tey-ing
Open, enter, turn
lead, guide, throw
my muscles burn
on the ground I land my foe
So simple-just get out of the way
but now it truly is reflex
as I train and train each day
and look at these muscles I can flex!
