I pulled out my camera,
Eager to capture a movie,
Or maybe a funny moment.
It wasn’t that I ran out
Of memory, no not at all.
It was just that everyone
Forgot I was trying so hard
To get their attention.
It hasn’t been long,
no, only a weekend
but i miss the fun,
and the laughs
that never end
I’m bored,
i’m lonesome
I want to hang out
but for now i’m just sitting
my face in a pout
The memory is gone.
I visit the grave every
now and then to pay my
respects, to leave flowers
on the site of this
my dearly departed.
In time I will stop
calling, and weeds will
take over and obscure
the once familiar name.

Heart go thump thump!
Feet go jump jump!
Face do drip! Drop!
Body do dip! Pop!
Mus-cle mem-o-ry!
Legs be slidy slide!
Arms be close n’ wide!
Hips go turn n’ twist!
Now just flick ya wrist!
Mus-cle mem-o-ry!
Bass go bump! Bump!
Dancers go pump! Pump!
Lights be flash! Flash!
Colors be splash! Splash!
Mus-cle mem-o-ry!
Feet go move n’ move!
People groove n’ groove!
Music rhyme and rhyme!
See ya next time!
Mus-cle mem-o-ry!
