  1. Lynn says:

    Forgotten
    I’ve become
    a word once uttered
    lost.
    Hopeless
    is the life.
    I live
    why?

  2. SBgiselle says:

    It was in my head
    Unfurled like a flag
    I just needed some paper
And it was all in the bag.

    Then a movie came out
    Clearly made for fame
It’s not a copy of my idea
    Just the very same.

    So crashing to the floor
    My story goes.
    It’s falling apart
    Like a last season rose.

  3. wryness says:

I could not find the time for Time
And he stopped not for me.
And soon I’d found he’d run away
    For all eternity.

Methinks I should look up to Time
    For if Time’s running still
There still is much that I must do,
    And many hearts to fill.

  4. Tristan says:

    I’m trying hard to
    smile, but I’m not very
    good at faking it.

  5. Russell says:

    trunks and roots

    how frustrating
    to live so long
    yet the only way
    to see anything new
    is grow taller
    and dig deeper

  6. Sorgie says:

Eat Your Veggies and You Can Have Dessert

    Sometimes you spend hours
    and hours,
    and hours,
trying to do something one way
    slogging, frustrated, upset
when there’s another method that takes a few seconds
    (maybe a minute)
and the tools you need are only a few steps
    from where you’ve been entrenched

and somehow, even after all the wasted effort
it still feels good to watch things come together smoothly
easily, and so much more simple than planned
    after the epiphany
and then you tell yourself “piece of cake”
