12/29/09: Walls

The Internet’s walls
are a good place to start
hanging my creations:
my poetry, my art.

Today’s classic poem is beautiful. Be sure to check it out.

  1. WesMantooth says:

    Where is the Internet?
It is not a physical thing
Is there a building that says “Internet?”
    How can it have walls?

  2. SBgiselle says:

The fence I set up around my heart
    Did not prepare me for
The blow you thrust on its stone
    Leaving it broken forever more.

  3. thunderthighs says:

    My ode to Pansy Wallpaper

It’s the first thing I see when I wake up
It’s a sight gruesome enough to make me throw up
    I think you get it,
Pansies plus walls; not a good combo
It makes my stomach do the mambo.

    amen

  4. Joslyn says:

“down the road the sun is shining
in every cloud there is a silver lining
    just keep on holdin on
every heart ache makes you stronger
it wont be too much longer
    til you find love, peace
and the you you’re meant to be
i know right now that’s not the way you feel
    but someday you will.”

  5. Cheer86 says:

You had walls up around you
    When we first met
I saw it crumble away piece by piece
Even though you still tried to push me away
I opened up to you and let you in
Hoping one day you would do the same
You have built your wall once again
    And wont let me in
I hope one day you’ll see what I see
And open up to me once again.

  6. Tristan says:

    I trespass a will
    at odds to my own.
    It owes me nothing,
    this great wall of stone,
    yet I ask of it
    goodwill to atone
    for old crimes committed,
    for punishment postponed,
    to indulge me the favor
    of this pleasure alone,
    this selfish desire,
    this conceited unknown.

  7. Russell says:

    every answer
    either breaks walls down
    builds them up
    or does both
    the question
    is who you shut out
    and who you let in

  8. Ashlee says:

    Wall comes down,
    The seige begins.
    Wall goes back up.
    Then Down
    Up
    Down
    The warriors are tired.
