I Somewhere high in the mountains a small, roundish rock can't take any more. Back against the cliff, arms outstretched on either side, toes sticking out over the abyss, his pulse crescendos. "No, Gregor! Don't do it!" his friends plead from their safe and secure perches above. "I've already made up my mind!" he cries back. Suddenly and with no further words or warning, he jumps. II
His lifeless body narrowly misses me,

I
Somewhere high in the mountains
